As mentioned in my previous journal three years ago: I am still alive.

I need to incite conversations with people, to remind myself that there's more to life than trying to be a professional artist. mmhm.

So I've been working on a life sized model of a pterosaur and believe it or not, my graphic novel as well. Which is somehow more surprising than a life size dinosaur.


This year I've bought a car. It's a "I have a fiance and a house and a stable job" kind of car. Not the "I just graduated" car I had previously - that broke down enroute to an interview. And while I do not have anything that my new car implies, it's a step into real life that I appreciate. It's a Kia Picanto ecodynamic and it's the sort of green you'd have seen on my old internet alias. Full circle!

Many things have happened since my previous journal; returning a baby cow to it's mum and receiving applause from the public, learning to drive a tractor, going to the arctic, working in youtube's offices, being stranded in a flood, "running" a 10.8km Tough Mudder race - with asthma... I'm well prepared to be an old lady full of stories.


So how's life?
