So I realised most of my characters will have trousers tucked into boots... and that's one of my least favourite things to draw because I didn't really know how to do it. Well. Now I know.

What an interesting thing to do a study on! What material were you using? Denim or canvas wouldn't wrinkle that much.

Ah yes. I only ever wear denim or canvas XD And canvas is only my camo pants for airsoft.

my camo trousers are polyester AND cotton xD I don't think I have anything canvas, but they're certainly thicker than those other ones. Also got some cotton and kevlar trousers - and they bend as much as denim I suppose.

Mine are a sort of soft canvas. They're forest camo, and they're a bit on the heavy side, so I never wear them when it's hot out.

I know someone who has Kevlar socks, but I've never heard of kevlar pants.

kevlar socks... I can see the benefit there. My trousers are motorcycle trousers, so, the kevlar is protective xD

I think they're used for climbing sans shoes or something.
